FH Services plugin for WordPress websites

To display funeral notices on your WordPress website powered by FireHawk Funerals, first download the latest version of the plugin by visiting www.firehawkfunerals.com/services.

Install the plugin on your WordPress website and activate it.

The first thing you will need in order to use the plugin is your Firehawk CRM team ID. You can find this by logging into Firehawk CRM and navigating to your team settings. In the URL bar in your browser you will find your team ID on the end, Your team ID is everything after team/ It should look something like this: yourteamslug.firehawkcrm.com/#/team/-JKbafhbkSFKbfak. The ID in this example ID is -JKbafhbkSFKbfak

Now that you have your team ID, You can use this in the back-end of your website to activate the plugin. In the back-end of your website you will now see a new menu item on the side called “FireHawk”. Navigate to the “FireHawk” menu and enter your team ID in the provided field and save changes. You can also add a link to a ‘default image’ to display as the client photo on the notice if none is added in CRM. Copy the URL for the image you would like to display from your media library and paste it in the field provided.

To display the social notices, Navigate to your list of pages and choose the page that you would like to display the plugin on and click to edit it. Add a ‘html’ element/widget and insert the shortcode below within the page where you would like it to be displayed. Save your changes.

To test the connection between the website display and CRM. Navigate to you list of clients and select one, ensure you have added a profile image and the details of service etc. Then under ‘Funeral Options’ and then ‘Online Tributes’ toggle the ‘Service Notice (beta)’ to Publish. The notice should now be visible on your website. By toggling the notice to ‘Unpublish’ it will be removed again.
