To Export a “Social Media Announcement” within Firehawk please follow these steps.
- Find the “At Need Client” you would like to export the “Social Announcement” for.
- On the left hand side of the client, click the “Funeral Options” tab.
- Scroll down until you get to “Facebook” click the “Yes” button.
- It will bring up a text box where you can write the message you want on the “Social Announcement”. Once you have finished your message scroll down click anywhere outside the text box to trigger an “Auto Save”.
- Click the “Export” tab on the menu at the top of the page.
- Click in the “Search” Bar and type in “Social”
- Select the “Social Announcement” option and move the mouse to the right side of the screen and press “download”. Firehawk will then auto create the document and the download should begin after a few moments.
- Your computer will then download the file, open the file, check the file has the necessary details and then you will need to post it to instagram or facebook. If it is missing any details, Date Of Birth or Date Of Death, you will need to add that information into the “Personal Details” Page.
And there you have it, a perfect “Social Announcement” done in minutes!
