Viewing Screen – Explaining the acronyms

Your screens can only fit so much so acronyms are needed to keep everything neat and tidy. Here are the definitions to help you understand more clearly.


Arranger

The staff member who is looking after the funeral arrangements


Service

The day, date, location and time of when the funeral service is.

Each day of the week will be represented by a different colour


Deceased Loc

Deceased Location – where the deceased is currently. Particularly helpful for teams with multiple clinical care locations.


Viewing Location

Showing either if there is No Viewing or Yes Viewing with the location listed.


Viewing Notes

Any important information to make your team aware of for the viewing


Lid

Instructions if the Coffin / Casket will be open or closed during the viewing.


Signed off

Staff signing off they have checked name plate & deceased’s ID.

No – Not still to check

Yes – Staff have completed this check


Prep

The type of preparation required for this client. Please note your team may have different terminology for these choices.

Jewellery
